Join us for our 6th annual Har Zion High School trip to Whitwell, Tennessee, home of the "Paper Clips" project and the Children's Holocaust Memorial. This year, the dates of the trip are Sunday, April 30 - Monday, May 1
We can only take 56 people - once our bus is full the trip is sold out! If bus is not sold out, DEADLINE FOR RESERVATIONS IS DECEMBER 1, 2016.
This trip is designed as an 8th grade trip and as a family trip. STUDENTS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT/GUARDIAN
Itinerary and Highlights:
- Fly to Atlanta (7:30 AM Flight - Arrive ATL 9:48 AM)
- Take a coach bus (with wifi) to Whitwell, TN. Screening of "Paper Clips" movie on the bus
- Catered kosher lunch at Whitwell Middle School - Welcome Ceremony
- Social Action activity to benefit the Marion County, Tennesee Food Bank
- Unforgettable church prayer service and catered kosher dinner at the Whitwell Church of God
- Memorable candle lighting ceremony at the Holocaust Railcar
- Overnight stay at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Chattanooga, Tn.
- Tour of the Children's Holocaust Memorial Museum
- Meet the Whitwell student who will be your "buddy"
- Catered kosher lunch at Whitwell Middle School
- Fly home Monday (5:45 PM Flight - Arrive PHL 7:56 PM)
Why so expensive, you might ask? Great question! Our expenses include airfare, coach bus, hotel, kosher meals and t-shirts. In additon, we pay for all meals, t-shirts and program supplies for our Tennessee friends.
